World IP Day 2020 | Innovate for a Green Future

Today is World IP Day.

World IP Day takes place April 26 in order to highlight the importance IP rights in fostering innovation, and the World Intellectual Property Organization sets the theme for each year’s celebration.

This year, the theme focuses on the role of intellectual property rights in creating a green future, and different organizations have scheduled activities throughout the world exploring the intersection of intellectual property, innovation and the environment.

Despite many scheduled activities being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are different webinars taking place throughout the world, since last week and during the next couple of days.
